Dr. Linda Colvin Rhodes is a former Secretary of Aging for the state of Pennsylvania. During her tenure, she oversaw a billion dollars worth of long term care services and created the award winning Family Caregiving Program helping thousands of families care for their loved ones at home. Besides holding a doctorate in the field from Teachers College, Columbia University, Rhodes has been a caregiver herself caring for her children's great grandmother who came to live with them following a stroke. She is frequently asked to testify before legislative committees and is a popular speaker at conferences on aging and health care throughout the country.
